Abhijeet Sawant is a singer, television actor, and anchor from India who won Indian Idol (Season 1).
He finished third in Asian Idol and was the first runner-up in Clinic All Clear – Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar.
Singing:
- In 2004, Abhijeet Sawant won the inaugural season of Indian Idol, a spin-off of Pop Idol.
- "Aapka Abhijeet Sawant", was his debut solo album (April 7, 2005).
- In the same year, he performed the song Marjawaan Mitjawaan in the film Aashiq Banaya Aapne as a playback singer.
- Junoon, his second album, was released on July 10, 2007. In India, the title track was a hit.
- Abhijeet Sawant was a Clinic All Clear finalist. In 2008, Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar aired on Star Plus. The show included a competition between the winners and runners-up of various Indian singing reality shows. Sawant finished as the show's first runner-up.

- In 2009, Sawant made his acting debut in the film Lottery.
- He also had a cameo appearance in the film Tees Maar Khan at the climax.
- In the romance drama series Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai and the thriller criminal series C.I.D., he made a cameo appearance as himself.

- In 2008–2009, Sawant and his wife Shilpa competed in the Dancing Reality Show Nach Baliye (Season 4). They were eliminated after being subjected to public voting.
